Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering Society

Our objectives are to:

• Create an amicable and collaborative environment for like-minded students who have an interest in medical physics and biomedical engineering
• Organize social to improve the sense of community within the Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering Department and people who are interested in the department and medical physics and biomedical engineering
• Organize career-oriented events to give students insights on the medical physics and biomedical engineering industry
• Organize outreach events by help organize open days for the department, presentations for secondary schools to increase interest in biomedical engineering and medical physics
• Organize workshops/programmes to grow the interest in medical physics and biomedical engineering and help students gain more technical skills such as medical electronics, medical imaging, programming in medicine, and more
• Act as the bridge between the Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering Department and any students within UCL who are interested with the help of the Student’s Union.
