Kinesis Magazine: Managing Web and Podcast Editor

I would love the opportunity to manage the Kinesis Magazine Podcast after being involved as a Researcher and Writer last year.

I am incredibly passionate about Scientific Research and truly believe that communicating Scientific Research is vital for a better understanding of Science in our community. Podcasts are a fun and light-hearted way of delivering this information in a way that is more digestible to us. Hence, I am very enthusiastic about planning and creating life-sciences based podcasts for our student community. Furthermore, I thoroughly enjoy working within a team to produce scientific content and believe that I could be capable of managing a team for this purpose. I think that my previous experience as a Kinesis Podcast Researcher has allowed me to learn a lot about how to run a podcast as well as highlighting to me the ways in which we can improve our podcast. For example, I think that we should try to make shorter podcasts more frequently. This will create continuity for our listeners and hopefully engage them more.

If elected, I will try my absolute best to deliver a podcast that is both informative and entertaining whilst establishing a friendly team environment where scientific creativity can thrive.
