Some of you may recognise my name. It has been my honour to served as the interim President for the IP society and establish one of UCL's newest innovative societies. I have thoroughly enjoyed spearheading the vision of the society with the help of the IP committee.
However, I have much more I intend on accomplishing and bringing to the society. It is for that reason that I am standing to be officially elected as President. I am passionate, not only about intellectual property, but about making it as exciting and accessible as possible for UCL students of all degrees. You as members of the society are our priority. As President, I will continue ensuring we keep your ambitions and interests at the core of the committee's decisions.
My experience as interim President means I have developed a good rapport amongst the committee members. This can be shown through the successful execution of our first Freshers Week and our BHM event. This existing relationship will mean I can communicate effectively, work collaboratively and, ultimately, bring the overall vision of the society into fruition.
Finally, I am currently facilitating various upcoming social and career events for our members. These include a discussion on the Impact Artificial Intelligence will have on IP Law and Policy, a panel event exploring the impact of IP on access to medicine as well as office tours and firm networking events.
I need your vote.
A vote for me is a vote for excellence, passion and commitment.
