Being a postgraduate student for 3 years and counting (woman in STEM PhD yay!), I want to be your GenFem Society Postgrad Rep so that you can feel as welcomed to events as I do!

GenFem Society is an amazing society that I want to contribute to by representing the UCL postgraduate student body and its ideas. As your Postgrad Rep, I plan to 

  • make sure events are as inclusive as possible, taking into account our already busy schedules;
  • organise more events with UCL postgrads as speakers who work on intersectionality and gender equality;
  • promote women in academia and inclusivity in underrepresented fields;
  • make sure you have a great time, regardless of whether you attend alone or bring a friend along;
  • help out the lovely committee with the events that are already planned!
