Entrepreneurs Society: Director of Events

Since I started University last year, I've always paid close attention to the UCL Entrepreneurs' Society and I enjoyed participating in some of the events it hosted. Because of my passion for entrepreneurship, this society is the one I've always been interest in the most and this led me to apply for an executive position over the summer. After this, I was promoted to Director of Events and I run the divison of my own until I hired executives two weeks ago. Over my time working on the committee, I came up with creative ideas for new events and I am currently overseeing their planning, with most of them taking place during Term 2. In addition to this, I reached out to potential speakers for other divisions too, and I collaborated with multiple societies within and outside UCL to reach new audiences with the same interest in entrepreneurial matters and connect them. For example, we are currently collaborating with UAL Creative Entrepreneurs Society and Imperial Entrepreneurs Society to plan an Entrepreneurship vs Intrapreneurship event during February/March. I am confident that, with the help of my team, we will deliver students precious insights into entrepreneurship through new events and strenghtengten relationships between UCL Entrepreneurs' Society and other societies within and outside UCL.
