Seraj Kindakji

Hello, this is Seraj. Currently, I’m doing my master’s in Engineering for International Development. I’m standing for the Operations Manager role at Engineers Without Borders Society as I believe I have the skills and experience needed to promote and develop EWB UCL projects and activities.

Being a member of the EWB chapter in the United States helped me understand the movement interventions, projects, and missions of its different chapters. I gained good experience and knowledge in the development field by working with the United Nations Development Program and the European Union for several years on cross-sectoral programs and projects in the MENA region.

As a committed individual with motivation and experience in the development field, I believe that I will add good value to the chapter as well as to all UCL students and promote the humanitarian and international development responsibilities that we - as engineers - have towards our nations.

Afreeda Rahman

Hello everyone, My name is Afreeda, and I am a first-year chemical engineering student. It would be an honour to be your operations manager and to work with the EWB team at UCL to bring you fun and insightful events to enrich your experience as future engineers. I hope to be able to meet and interact with all of you, to listen to your ideas and help bring them to life. I look forward to building stronger connections with other societies here at UCL but also external universities and organisations to broaden our horizon. Engineering is limitless and I believe together we can be too.
