Writers' Society: Chair of Prose

Hello! I would love to serve as the Chair of Prose for the Writer's Society to continue fulfilling my insatiable desire for reading new stories. As an avid reader, editor, and occasionally, writer (when the procrastination doesn't get to me), I aim to create and open and constructive environment so everyone feels comfortable sharing their amazing work while still receiving helpful feedback! For this role, I would bring my experience as a professional editor for Investopedia, The Diplomacy Review, and other magazines, as well as a beta reader for numerous published stories (my name is in the acknowledgements for a book!). Using the knowledge about story structure, grammar, writing style, and character arcs that I have acquired over the years, I can provide detailed and specific feedback while also opening up the discussion for everyone to get as many perspectives as possible. I look forward to contributing to Writer's Soc and being part of an amazing community!
