I am standing for the position of Welfare Officer because I am deeply committed to supporting others as they navigate new challenges. My background as a dentist and vice medical director has given me firsthand experience in mentoring and guiding new arrivals. Part of my role involved helping new doctors and assistants integrate smoothly into both the professional setting and the surrounding community, offering them the support needed to thrive in a new culture.
I believe these skills make me a strong candidate for the Welfare Officer role at UCL. I am confident that my experience and dedication will allow me to make a positive contribution to the UCL community, helping to create an inclusive, supportive environment for everyone.
