Italian Society: Social Secretary

I'm Nektarios Chliaras, and I'm thrilled to stand for the position of Social Secretary for the UCL Italian Society. I believe a vibrant social calendar is the heart of any society, especially one with such a rich cultural heritage as ours. Italian culture is renowned for its warmth, passion, and community, and I am eager to bring those qualities into our society's events. My goal as Social Secretary is to create engaging and culturally stimulating gatherings that entertain and remind us of the beauty of Italian culture.

I envision a variety of events, from lively social evenings where members can relax and connect, to nights out, dinners, and parties that capture the fun, energetic spirit of Italian gatherings. These events will be all about bringing people together in a relaxed setting, offering everyone a taste of Italian cuisine, and creating memories that celebrate Italian culture’s best parts. I hope to foster a sense of community within our society where members can form connections and enjoy a great time.
