Hello everyone! I'm Antonia, a third-year international undergrad student, and I'm thrilled to be running for Social Secretary of the Institute of the Americas Society!
As Social Secretary, I’m eager to make the Institute a welcoming place for everyone, especially for fellow international students who may be adjusting to a new environment. I’ll focus on creating events that bring people together, helping all students—whether local or international—feel connected and supported. Furthermore, I want to foster a community where everyone feels they belong, from staff members to students, I want to create inclusive, engaging, and easy-to-engage-with spaces!
