Welcome to the Institute of the Americas Society, the student led departmental society for the Institute of the Americas. Whether you're an undergraduate, postgraduate, or PHD student under the Institute, this society is for you. We aim to provide a home and community within our little department, as well as give students a voice and get the most out of their university experience.
We host both academic and social events made equal and accessible to all. Through our academic events students will have access to the Institutes Seminar Series, and opportunities to meet and form connections with tutors and other staff members. Our social events will include coffee mornings, study sessions, film screenings, and frequent evening course socials to give all students a chance to get to know each other outside of the classroom.
