Phineas

Phineas is the biggest of our Union bars. It's your go-to for a fun night out on campus, where you can find something for everyone. As the spiritual home of TeamUCL, Phineas hosts our legendary Sports Night every Wednesday during term time. As well as this, other events you can expect to find at Phineas include:

Phineas is open daytimes with pool tables, photobooth, Wii on projector (all coming soon), a dart board, board games, and a beanbag filled chillout zone. We have a great range of drinks on offer as well as some popular Raman pots giving you your lunch time noodle fix. Want something different with your noodles? Try a Soju bomb (available from Welcome week)

• Monday Games Night - weekly from 7pm Phineas is taken over by a range of games societies (including Board Game, Chess, Mahjong, Sci-Fi and Fantasy Soc) for a mass games night. It's free anyone can come and join in plus Mondays at Phineas are alcohol free. It's all good clean fun on a Monday!
• The beloved UCL Jazz Jammin on Tuesdays; featuring fantastic performances from the Union's very own Jazz Society.
• Thursdays is our rolling events night. This will host some great events like the infamous Glittoris - our monthly LGBT+ club night: Think lip-sync battles, drag performances and classic pop bangers all night long in collaboration with Drag Society and the LGBTQ+ Net. Also planned this term EMS Open Decks, Taylor Swift and Friends party and Salsa night!

We've got some awesome drinks deals, so you can enjoy a great night out in our bars without financial ruin.

Fridays and Saturdays are available for private bookings so if you are looking for a venue to host a society event, a private party or anything of the sort, fill out this booking form and we will get back to you with a quote.

The home of Sports Night is at Phineas, where TeamUCL come for £3 drinks every Wednesday night before heading to Scala Kings Cross, for the TeamUCL Sports Night Club Night.

Phineas is open for study, lunch and general hanging out from 10:00 - 19:00.

If you're visiting one of our bars, familiarise yourself with our bar entry policy, designed to keep us all safe. Please note unless specified last entry is Midnight.

We want you to feel comfortable, safe, and at home when you're spending time in our bars or event spaces which is why we uphold a number of safety initiatives in all our bars including specific measures against spiking and harassment. All our bar staff have also undertaken Drink Spiking Awareness and Active Bystander training.
