Idea for research
Succeed 2 The Max is a London-based youth career development charity which empowers young people to shape their own version of a successful, meaningful career.

We want to understand how young peoples’ career goals are shaped by social attitudes, cultural expectations and adults in their lives. This research would use qualitative data collection to explore these ideas and understand whether students are being supported to explore their interests with confidence and self-belief. Data could be through focus groups or interviews, with young people who have worked with Succeed 2 the Max and/or UCL students.
Impact of idea
This research would play a vital role in helping Succeed 2 the Max to understand how well young people are being supported, and where there are gaps or negative influences. We would love to work closely with a dedicated student who can share their findings in a creative and accessible way, and we are interested in collaborating with students from all disciplines.
