We organise social events where you can experience Sudanese culture, creating a home away from home. Established in 2021, we have regularly hosted in-person events, including games nights, movie nights, debates, and fun socials!
In light of the hardships the Sudanese community has been facing, the community formed by the society has become more important than ever. We welcome everyone from all cultural backgrounds to meet new people, engage in new experiences, and feel part of a community here at UCL.
Our aims for this year are:
- To unite the Sudanese diaspora in London
- Celebrate the Sudanese identity and share our culture and heritage
- Host UoL events to connect Sudanese students across London
- Be a source of comfort and community amidst hardship
- Support the people of Sudan through fundraisers and welfare events
