WELCOME TO UCL LITHUANIAN SOCIETY!

We are more than just a student hangout hub - we are a community that connects Lithuanians at UCL, across the UK, and beyond. Inspired by our culture, tradition, and history, we bring together those who wish to celebrate what it means to be Lithuanian - and those simply curious to discover it. Throughout the year, we gather to mark national holidays, host cultural evenings, and collaborate with fellow societies and Lithuanian communities in the UK.

But we also look further: this year, our mission is to grow into something bigger. We want to create opportunities, not just memories - to connect students with career and study prospects, to open doors to professional networks, and to introduce pathways back to Lithuania through institutional visits, collaborations, and guest visits. And, beyond that, we also want to be a society that cares for the world and fosters a generation of students that are resilient - faced by global challenges and by the devastating war in Ukraine, we also want to be a hub for donation drives, humanitarian aid workshops, and civil resistance courses. 

So, whether you carry Lithuania in your passport, in your family, or in your heart, you will find a place here.
