UCL Football Club (UCLFC) is the largest competitive sports club at UCL, making us the heart of the student experience. With seven competitive teams and a development squad, we offer unmatched sporting and social opportunities that go beyond the pitch - bringing our members together and creating one of the best social communities at UCL.

Getting Involved:

This year’s Full Membership is £110. The Term 2 Membership is £65, and is made available to late-joiners and  exchange students ONLY. All squad members must pay before taking part in club activity.  

HERE'S A RECAP OF OUR 2024/25 CAMPAIGN:

  • 1st team: Winners of Competitive LUSL Premier Div and LUSL Cup, & finished 3rd in BUCS Div 2
  • 2nd team: Finished 2nd in BUCS Div 5 , reached BUCS Trophy Semis & finished 5th in Competitive LUSL Div 1
  • 3rd team: Finished 3rd in BUCS Div 6 & 4th in Competitive LUSL Div 2
  • 4th team: Winners of Wednesday Intermediate LUSL Premier Div & 3rd in Saturday Intermediate LUSL Premier Div
  • 5th team: Finished 3rd in Wednesday Intermediate LUSL Premier Div & 4th in Saturday Intermediate LUSL Premier Div

  • 6th team: Finished 5th in Saturday Intermediate LUSL Div 1

    OTHER NOTABLE EVENTS:

  • Raised £9130 for Movember, coming 71st in the UK for Movember contributions and continuing to raise awareness of men’s mental health.
  • Amazing weekly socials throughout the year, as well as two memorable UCFC tours - making our mark both domestically in Liverpool, and internationally in Portugal.
  • Provided a positive experience for over 280 members.
  • Dispatched our Varsity rivals K*ngs - making it now SEVEN Varsity wins on the bounce.

KEY INFO:

  • Fixtures take place twice a week (Wednesdays and Saturdays) for our first through sixth team,  once a week (Saturdays) for our seventh team, and once or twice a week for our development team.
  • Training is once per week for all 7 competitive teams.  There is no training for the development team.
  • Club socials are held weekly, and we also like to host a variety of special events such as the Christmas dinner, FootBALL, and themed sports nights at Scala. However, arguably the best part about being a UCFC member is having the chance to come on tour. Each summer we run a tour abroad after term 3 (recent destinations have included Albufeira, Malta, Budapest and Barcelona), as well as a short domestic tour in term 1 (recent destinations have included Liverpool, Manchester and Newcastle). These are not to be missed and are considered by many in the club as the highlight of the year!
