GETTING INVOLVED:

Trials for the 2026/27 season will take place at the beginning of Term 1 on the following dates:

  • Trial 1: Tuesday 29 September - Mabley Green, 1:00pm-3:00pm
  • Trial 2: Sunday 4 October - Mabley Green, 3:00pm-5:00pm
  • Trial 3: Monday 5 October - Peter May Sports Centre, 11:00am–2:00pm

We welcome players of all levels to trial for the club. Trials will be used to select players for our seven competitive teams, while our Development Squad provides an additional pathway into UCLFC for players who are not initially selected for a competitive squad.

Players MUST attend either Trial 1 or Trial 2 to be considered for selection. These sessions will consist primarily of small-sided games and will be used to assess players and determine who is invited back for the final stage of trials.

Trial 3 is callback only. Players selected from Trial 1 and Trial 2 will be invited to attend Trial 3, which will consist of 11-a-side games and will be used to finalise squad selections.

Please wait for official trial tickets to be released before attending. Registration details and ticket links will be shared shortly through our dedicated UCLFC Trialists WhatsApp chat.

PERFORMANCE AND INNOVATION:

UCLFC is committed to continually improving the footballing experience we provide for our players, both on and off the pitch.

For the 2026/27 season, we are introducing Veo across the club for the first time. This will give our teams access to match footage, allowing players and coaches to review performances, improve tactical analysis and support individual player development throughout the season.

Our Men's 1st Team will also be part of the TeamUCL High Performance Programme, providing additional support including Strength and Conditioning sessions, physiotherapy access, and specialist nutrition and sports psychology workshops.

Alongside this, we continue to work on improving the quality of our training, facilities and player development pathway across all seven competitive teams and our Development Squad.

KEY INFO:

  • Fixtures take place twice a week (Wednesdays and Saturdays) for our first through sixth team, once a week (Saturdays) for our seventh team, and once or twice a week for our development team.
  • Training is once per week for all 7 competitive teams.  There is no training for the development team.
  • Club socials are held weekly, and we also like to host a variety of special events such as the Christmas dinner, FootBALL, and themed sports nights at Scala. However, arguably the best part about being a UCFC member is having the chance to come on tour. Each summer we run a tour abroad after term 3 (recent destinations have included Lloret de Mar, Albufeira, Malta, Budapest and Barcelona), as well as a short domestic tour in term 1 (recent destinations have included Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester and Newcastle). These are not to be missed and are considered by many in the club as the highlight of the year!
