The UCL Anthropology Society (AnthSoc) brings together students, staff, and anyone with an interest in exploring what it means to be human.

We host a mix of social, academic, and career-focused events throughout the year — from our weekly meetups every Thursday at the IOE Institute and museum visits to guest talks, crafting sessions, and the much-loved Anthropology Ball.

Whether we’re in a lecture theatre, a museum, or the local pub, AnthSoc is all about building community, sharing ideas, and having fun along the way.

Student groups are run by UCL students and facilitated by Students’ Union UCL.
