Ever wondered how animation works and wanted to give it a go? Join UCL Animation Society, where we teach a range of animation techniques!
We teach 2D, 3D and other forms of animation to our members. All levels of experience are welcome, whether you are an experienced animator or have never touched a drawing tablet.
Our events are as follows:
- 2D Animation lessons - bring your own device and follow along!
- Group Animation sessions - Collaborate in teams to create animations quickly and in a fun setting!
- 3D Animation lessons - Bring your laptop and learn 3D animation with our instructors!
- Stop motion animation - Experiment with figurines and photography to create animations!
- Socials - Relax and unwind with society members!
- Competitions - Compete against other members to make the best animation!
The events are held at non-fixed periods throughout the year so make sure to stay updated in our WhatsApp!
We are currently offering memberships for free so make sure to sign up and give it a go!
IMPORTANT - Do your best to bring either an iPad, graphics tablet or a touchscreen laptop with a pen. Anything you can draw on digitally should suffice. You can get very cheap graphics tablets that plug into your laptop and are useful for both drawing and note taking!
