London currently has a local Covid alert level of high (often referred to as Tier Two)

There are now new restrictions in place in London which you should be aware of. You can learn about the new restrictions on the UK Government website.

The change in alert level also has an impact on our activity and spaces. We’ve outlined these below:

Cafes

  • Our cafes remain card-payment only.
  • Please download the NHS COVID-19 App and scan the venue QR code on entry.

  • Our bars are table service only, please order drinks (and food) via our app.
  • NEW. When sitting indoors, the maximum group size is six and everyone in the group must be from the same household. For students, a household is defined as a group you share a bathroom / kitchen with. You may be asked for proof of address.
  • When sitting outdoors (The Institute Bar only): maximum group size is six but groups from multiple households can sit together.
  • Please download the NHS COVID-19 App and scan the venue QR code on entry.

In-person society activity

General

UCL’s campus is safe and complies with the latest Government restrictions. Scheduled face-to-face education will continue as planned. Libraries, study-spaces, outdoor meeting spaces and museums will remain open and continue to be accessible.
