The UCL Campus Run will take place on Wednesday 24 April at 2pm on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

The UCL Campus Run will offer all UCL students, staff and alumni the opportunity to take part in either the 5km or 10km route on the inspiring Olympic Park at UCL East. The event is open to all levels of ability and experience; participants can use the flat and fast course to their advantage to aim to get a new personal best or enjoy the supportive environment to complete their first-ever run.

Tickets will include:

  • Entry to the UCL Campus Run
  • A race number
  • Chip timed results 
  • A finishers medal 
  • Official event photographs 
  • A great experience

This event will be supported by volunteers from UCL's Running, Athletics and Cross Country Club.

Preparing for the Run

Team UCL are delivering a free support package for all participants who sign up to prepare for the event, including: 

  • Free weekly running groups led by student volunteers from UCL Running and Cross Country Club 
  • Free template training programmes  
  • Free nutrition for running workshop 
  • Free recovery/flexibility session
  • 1 x free day-pass to try out our on-campus gym!  

Upcoming runs

Project Active offer two beginner friendly running groups each week. Project Active Postgraduate Regents Park Run takes place on a Tuesday 16:00-17:00pm and Project Active Women Only running group takes place on Tuesdays from 17:00-18:00pm. Tickets for both of these running groups are free but you will need to pre book. To pre book your ticket, please click here.

Alternatively click here to find your local Parkrun. Parkrun is such a simple concept: turn up every Saturday and walk, jog or run 5k. It doesn’t matter how fast you go. It doesn’t matter what you’re wearing. What matters is taking part.
