Every wondered what makes UCL so special? Short answer - it's YOU. Whether you're excelling in sports, shining on stage, or making a difference through volunteering, your accomplishments are what truly set UCL apart – and they deserve to be celebrated.

The End of Year Awards are a chance to recognise and celebrate everything that you have contributed to making the UCL community such a special place. This year we’re hosting four exciting events: Arts Awards, Sports Awards, Societies Awards and Community Awards on Thursday 29 and Friday 30 May. It's a chance to come together to celebrate all the hard work, dedication and impact of all the clubs, societies and individuals who have shaped student life for the better.
If you're wondering what you can nominate someone for, the answer is absolutely anything. From recognising the contributions of those who have shown up consistently to shining a spotlight on individuals who have gone the extra mile to improve your experience, you can nominate anyone who has made a difference to your time at UCL. If you need some inspo, here are some of last year's nominations:
He does so much behind the scenes to run the club and still manages to show up and be the friendly face of the society. I know he has made many people feel very at home in the society
She attends every training and match, and has been an outstanding role model and friend to all of our new team members
She has been an exceptional Captain, demonstrating the highest level of commitment, inclusivity and leadership

You have until 12:00 on Wednesday 9 April to submit your nominations - more info on voting to come! The shortlist will be released on Wednesday 16 April. Look out for more updates on our after parties taking place at the Institute (more on this coming soon).
