If you're new to UCL this year, then you’re in for a real treat as we're taking things to new levels with our best Welcome Week nightlife line-up EVER. There are literally hundreds of events happening in September, but with our Nightlife Wristband you'll have guaranteed access to six of the biggest clubs in London – starting and ending at Ministry of Sound. We're releasing wristbands at different price points in the lead up to Welcome Week - the earlier you buy your wristband, the more you save. Save money on your Welcome Week nights out
Buying the wristband saves you £70+ compared to the cost of purchasing individual club night tickets during Welcome Week. Plus there’s no need to worry about missing out or stress about getting tickets as you know the plans are already in place. Just create a guest account on our website and use that to buy the wristband, or tickets to events before you have your official UCL login.
Experience six huge London clubs
Our Welcome Week club night events are designed to help you experience the best of London’s clubbing scene - the best venues, great production and brilliant DJs.
We start the week at Ministry of Sound where the legendary nightspot will welcome you in a truly epic way with great DJ’s, visuals, Co2 canons and lasers, FX production and of course the UK's loudest sound-system! Next up it’s Scala in Kings Cross, for a huge Beach Party. After that we’re taking over Egg for a UV Glow Rave Night where you can expect glowsticks and UV cannons, alongside an 8ft Light up Glow RoBot.
Still got some energy left? We’re heading to legendary nightclub Fabric for a Freshers’ Rave. And then the penultimate night of Welcome Week will bring you an event like no other: Battle of the Halls at the brilliant o2 Academy Islington. Last but not least, we’ll bring the 2024 Welcome Week full circle, heading back to where it all began for the Official Closing Party at Ministry of Sound.
Get the party started in Phineas
We’re hosting pre-drinks in Phineas – our biggest Students’ Union bar - most nights of the week, so head to 25 Gordon Street, meet your fellow freshers and get the night off to an epic start. At Phineas you can always expect excellent drink deals and prices, so you can enjoy your night out without breaking the bank.
Don’t fall for fake wristbands
Official UCL Nightlife 2024 wristbands and event tickets are only available to purchase from the Students’ Union UCL website and Students’ Union UCL Fatsoma. Any wristbands or tickets on sale elsewhere are not official and will not give you access to any official UCL Welcome 2024 events.
You’ll be able to pick up your wristband in person from the Hanger, our Students’ Union merchandise shop at 25 Gordon Street in September. We’ll have a a 10% in-store discount for all wristband holders, so you'll be able to pick up some UCL merch at the same time. See you then!
