Being involved in a sports club, the arts, a society, or volunteering project while studying is what makes your experience at UCL unforgettable. That's why we think the students who keep those communities growing are so invaluable, playing a huge part in making memories you make at UCL that will last a lifetime.

Every year, we celebrate the hard work and progress of all those clubs, societies and individuals who have made a huge impact on students' lives at our four annual awards ceremonies at the end of May.

The Shortlist

From Arts Personality of the Year, to Best New Society and Sports Club of the Year, our awards are handed out to those who have gone above and beyond and made the greatest impact within our UCL communities.  After receiving 1,214 nominations, we can now reveal the shortlist for each category and award.

The Awards Ceremonies

Each of the awards ceremonies will be taking place on Thursday 30 May and Friday 31 May in the Bloomsbury Theatre, so this is your invitation to get glammed up and come together to celebrate in style. Each show will either begin or follow with a drinks reception in the Wilkin's Terrace, where you can enjoy a glass of fizz and pose for a photo. Book your tickets to the Bloomsbury Theatre shows now as seats are selling out fast.

We can’t wait to recognise those who have helped make UCL a better place, going above and beyond to create the best student experience possible.

After the Awards, come the celebrations

This year, we're taking the celebrations to the next level with our summer balls! Join your friends to celebrate your achievements and see out the academic year in style.

The Sports Ball will take place on Thursday 30 May (straight after the Sports Awards) for all of TeamUCL to get dressed up and come together for an unforgettable night of live music, DJ sets, street food and immersive themed areas. On Friday 31 May we'll do it all again for artsUCL members with our glitzy ArtsUCL Ball and at the end of the week campus will be transformed one last time for the Summer Ball, which will be open to all UCL students.

We have limited early bird tickets on sale now. The earlier you buy your ticket, the cheaper the price. Get your tickets to avoid disappointment!
