2016/2017 Best Overall Arts Society winner; UCL Musical Theatre Society, provides top-quality performance, production, volunteering and social opportunities for the students of UCL.

We've got lots to offer actors, singers, dancers, musicians, directors, producers, choreographers, costume/graphic designers, and all who simply love musicals!

Each academic year we put on shows in a variety of musical theatre genres, usually two large-scale productions and a multitude of smaller shows. These take place in a range of internal and external venues, with 2018 seeing the return of the UCL's own Bloomsbury Theatre. Our productions are always highly successful at the annual Arts Awards, winning Best Bloomsbury Production 2014-2016 and 2018 and Best Individual Performance five years' running 2014-2018 to name a few!

Term 1 2018/2019 promises to be full of opportunities with our upcoming large scale production of 'From Here To Eternity and Term 2 will see us put on a production of the Sondheim classic ' Sweeney Todd'. Aside from our large shows, we will have smaller productions running in each term to get involved in.  Auditions for all of our shows are open to all UCL students. We also have applications to stage your own show for budding producers and directors which will be available each term.

Aside from full musical theatre productions, the society also runs fortnightly open workshops, open mic nights, revues, volunteering projects, socials galore, trips to the West End, one-off events, and masterclasses with industry professionals.
