Do you like fun? Do you like making friends? Do you like keeping fit? Then UCL Badminton is PERFECT for YOU! If you don’t like any of these then come along anyway, we might surprise you.

We meet every Sunday afternoon at Somers Town Sports Centre (15 min walk from UCL) where you can meet new people, play some badminton and just generally have fun! This year is the first year everyone will get to compete and play socially as they choose because of our new social team (as well as our high-standard competitive teams) new for this year, so keep a look out!

In term time, team members will train every Sunday 2-4pm and social sessions will take place 4-7pm straight after. There’ll also be opportunity to go for food/do something fun together after practices as well.

Our first event is a freshers’ picnic and will take place on Saturday 6th October in Russell Square, all details are on our facebook (and event) page!

During freshers’ week there’ll be some team trials and taster sessions that are free to attend;

Team trials:
- 26th September 2-4pm
- 30th September 2-4pm
- 3rd October 2-4pm

Social sessions:
- 30th September 4-7pm
- 7th October 4-7pm

Both team team training and social sessions take place at:

Somers Town Community Sports Centre
134 Chalton Street
Kings Cross
