About Rose
Rose first discovered Ashtanga Yoga when studying in Edinburgh over 15 years ago. Struck by the stillness she felt during and after class, she gradually delved deeper and eventually travelled to Bali to train with Gregor Maehle and Monica Gauci, expanding her practise to the subtler limbs of yoga. Since qualifying as a yoga teacher in 2019, Rose has primarily taught in Paris where she lived for 10 years, and for the NHS as a volunteer. She continues to study with Gregor and Monica, alongside other senior teachers such as Kia Naddermier and Petri Raisanen. She has an MSc in Psychological Sciences from UCL and is currently studying a foundation course in psychotherapy.
Rose’s classes will help you cultivate a regular and safe practice of Ashtanga yoga, focusing on breath awareness, posture and alignment. All levels are welcome as alternative postures will be given for both new and advanced practitioners. Ashtanga yoga has been transformative for Rose and she aims to teach as she has been taught: with authenticity and compassion.
