🌏 Part of the Career Supercharger Global Alumni Q&A Webinar Series

We are currently uploading the speaker bios. Please check back later for more information!

Are you curious about what it’s like to build a career in China after graduating from UCL Institute of Education? Join our first Career Supercharger X IOE : Global Alumni Q&A Webinar, connecting current students with UCL alumni industry professionals based in China.

This edition is particularly special as we have invited IOE alumni who returned to China after graduation but chose career paths outside the education sector. Their journeys may be considered unconventional, and that is exactly why we are excited to feature them.

We hope their experiences will offer fresh perspectives and encouragement to those who are considering a career change or exploring opportunities beyond their degree discipline.

In this session, our panellists from diverse industries will share honest reflections on their career journeys, job-hunting experiences, and the realities of transitioning from university into the professional world.

Whether you're considering staying in the UK or returning to China, this webinar will offer practical insights and real-world perspectives on:

Job-hunting strategies in China’s evolving market

🎓 Navigating the transition from university to work

📈 Industry trends, innovations and emerging opportunities

💼 Building essential employability skills that employers value

🌍 Choosing between developing a career in the UK or returning to China

🔄 Returning to China after studying abroad and positioning yourself competitively

The event will feature a panel discussion followed by a live Q&A, offering you the chance to ask questions and learn directly from alumni who have walked this path.
