The Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition asks Doctoral candidates to present their research in just three minutes, in language appropriate to non-specialists, and with only one single presentation slide to support them. Can it be done? You’ll have to join us to find out...

How does it work?
Each faculty has been holding their own competition over the past few months and two students from each faculty have been put forward to the UCL final taking place on Wednesday 10 June from 15.30 - 16:30.
Programme
13:00 – 15:30: Doctoral School Competitions Showcase (Hosted by the Doctoral School)
Open to all students and staff at UCL and UoL,no tickets required
- 13:00 - 14:00: Research Poster Competition Final. Finalists will present their poster to the panel of three judges and audiences.
- 14:00 - 15:30: Open exhibition for competition entries and mini games/competitions
15:30 - 16:30: 3MT Final
You will need to book a FREE ticket to attend the 3MT Final at 15:30pm.
Finalists will present their 3mt thesis to the panel and a live audience.

17:00 - 17:30: Awards Ceremony for 3MT & Doctoral School Competitions
3MT ticket holders will have entry plus all shortlisted Doctoral School competition entrants and their friends/colleagues/family.
