The UCL Surgical Society presents a 10-part workshop series to provide medical students with the opportunity to learn and practise essential surgical skills in a structured, hands-on environment.
Session Details:
Revisit and consolidate skills learned in earlier workshops while also covering the principles of scrubbing, gowning, and gloving to prepare for safe surgical practice in theatre.
Each session is delivered by surgical trainees and offers:
- Hands-on practice in core surgical skills
- Guidance and immediate feedback from experts
- Progressive skill-building across sessions
- A certificate upon completion
Who can attend?
Open to all UCL medical students, no prior surgical experience required.
What to bring:
All equipment and materials will be provided. Please wear suitable clothing for a clinical skills setting.
