The conference includes speeches featuring: Nadia Drake, Francisco Diego , Mike Garrett and Bronwyn Syiek! Here's a short description of their roles;

Ms. Bronwyn Syiek is an accomplished entrepreneur and passionate supporter of the sciences. She was previously the Chairlady and Director of the SETI Institute. Bron was also the Founder and President of NASDAQ-listed QuinStreet. She served on the management committee of De La Rue and was also a Consultant at McKinsey & Company. Bron studied Physics and earned a BA and MA in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University.

Dr. Nadia Drake is an award-winning science journalist and editor who specialises in covering space exploration and the search for life beyond Earth. She is a board member of the SETI Institute. Nadia has been a contributing writer with National Geographic, the interim physics editor at Quanta Magazine, and she has written for numerous publications including Nature, The New York Times, Science News, and Scientific American. Nadia has also served on committees convened by the National Academies, NASA, and others. She holds a PhD in genetics from Cornell University.

Dr. Francisco Diego is a keen populariser of natural sciences. He was born in Mexico City, where he earned a BSc in Mechanical Engineering. His career in Astronomy started at the Sociedad Astronomica de Mexico and the Planetario Luis E. Erro. Diego came to University College London where he earned a PhD in Astronomy. Currently, he is a Lecturer at the Department of Physics and Astronomy, UCL, vice president of the UK Association for Astronomy Education, member of the International Astronomical Union and fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society.

Dr. Michael Garrett is the inaugural Sir Bernard Lovell chair of Astrophysics at the University of Manchester and the Director of the Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics. Mike pursues a wide range of scientific interests, including the study of the distant universe via high resolution radio observations. He is active in the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI), and is currently vice-chair of the IAAs SETI Permanent Committee. Mike is also on the Science Advisory Board of the SETI Institute and a visiting Professor at the University of Leiden.
