1.Transient Faith

Faith… is a transient thing.

Beyond the horizon, where technology has little time to develop, fantasy remains. A land where chivalry and bushido are true ways of life can exist. A land where monsters and heroes alike roam the realm can thrive.

Faith in such fantasies… are a thing in the past. Even Emmelyn, the last open bastion of that faith, has faded into history; leaving only a solitary remnant: the sealed lands of Areth.

You, alongside your fellow companions, seek a way to enter Areth, to preserve your own life of fantasy.

As the transient nature of faith looms like a doomsday clock, how will you fare…

3. We Desperately Need To Get Narcissus Laid

It has been 8 months since the most beautiful man in the world stumbled out of a cave, and the broad consensus is that this guy Absolutely Needs To Fucking Go. His radiant beauty placed him at the center of the universe. Crops now grow facing towards him instead of the sun, causing them to wilt and die. The ocean currents now all flow towards him, causing ships to crash. Pastors, priests and marriage officiates have seen no business for nearly a year whereas the divorce lawyers are rolling in dough. The men, women and children (in a childhood crush way don’t kill me) of Byzantine Greece have all had their hearts completely and utterly captured.

The only reason why that cave isn’t a 24/7 orgy is because that man has a personality so awful it needs to be studied in a lab.

To restore the peace, many have tried to kill him. However, ever since someone uppercut Narcissus in the stomach, causing a moan of pain to escape, Thebes ran out of straight men (not that there were that many to begin with), so we’re not trying that anymore.

And thus, the brightest minds of the world have devised a master plan to seal away this terror. They gathered a party of 5 people who are impervious to his charms (you guys get to make up your own reason) and sent them on a quest to escort a chosen partner for Narcissus to him, hoping that once he’s found his love he’ll fuck off back into the cave and leave the world alone.

However, due to the man’s self absorption and ego, he has set up a series of trials and challenges to ‘weed out’ who is truly worthy of his attention. That, and the fact that his allure attracts not just humans, but also swarms of monsters to this isle, means that this is probably going to be the deadliest wing-manning in Greek mythos.

Largely just standard 5e, but do have a character prepped (Level 5, point buy) along with a reason why they don't care about Narcissus' charm.

4.Guardians of the Citadel

Are you ready to step into legend? Guardians of the Citadel is an action-packed RPG oneshot designed for players of all experience levels with danger at every step.

You play as fresh recruits arriving at an auxiliary fortress near the Citadel, a legendary bastion which has stood guard for generations over the Abyssal Rift, a chasm to the depths of the earth from which hordes of eldritch horrors come forth to threaten the world. Brought there by the search of adventure, religious duty or simply a desire to escape, you take your first steps into a new and dangerous life.

Then, the unthinkable happens.

A sudden, catastrophic Abyssal raid breaches walls, cutting off escape routes and trapping you inside the besieged fort with dwindling supplies, mounting casualties, and a relentless tide of monsters. With no seasoned commanders left to guide you and no reinforcements on the way, the burden of survival falls squarely on your shoulders.

Can your newly forged squad hold off the invading hordes and survive, or will your heroic journey end before it even truly begins? Play and find out!

6.The 3:10 to Gehenna

On All Hallow’s Eve, 1880, in the town of Tombstone, Arizona, the law finally caught the notorious outlaw Lazarus McCain and hanged him high. Death couldn’t hold him down; on

the next full moon, he clawed his way out from under Boot Hill and rose again to take his vengeance on the world.

The unliving McCain became more infamous than he ever was in life. Papers like the Tombstone Epitaph wrote every day about the man who couldn’t be killed, and of the trail of bodies he and his gang of monstrosities left in their wake. Most honest folk claim not to believe such superstitious hogwash; they stay indoors at night and keep their guns loaded all the same.

Even that which cannot be killed can still be bound, however. By blessed silver bullets, otherworldly magic, and no small amount of dumb, brave luck, four unlikely heroes have done what the law couldn’t: put the “invincible” McCain back in his coffin. The trouble is going to be keeping him there.

In the dwindling town of Contention, they say that every thirteen nights, at just past three in the morning, a spectral engine carrying the souls of the damned comes screaming through the old railhead on the way to its final destination. It’s days of travel through rough country, with Lazarus’ gang hot on your heels, but if you want the Arizona Territory to be safe again (or to claim that $10,000 dollar bounty), you know what it is you must do:

You’re going to put Lazarus McCain on a train straight to hell.

7.The Last True Forest

The Otravne Stromy Forest has long been known to the villages that lie on its edge as a place of cursed and unholy happenings. Those who venture into its depths often go mad, if they are ever found again at all.

Your character may not want anything to do with these forsaken woods, but one way or another, the woods want something to do with you.

In this campaign you will find you and some other unfortunate souls who have found themselves stuck with you will journey through the increasingly mind-bending and surreal woods meeting other travelers and the ‘inhabitants’ of the woods, some will be friendly, some will be less so, and perhaps even discover the source of the strange magic that plagues these lands.

If you like campaigns which tend to veer to the more silly side, like DMs that let you get away with some very strange shenanigans or just REALLY like getting lost in the woods, this is the campaign for you.

IMPORTANT

This is a rerun of last session’s oneshot, if you are a player before, don't sign up.
