Learn how to use EndNote to organise your references, add citations to your work and automatically create bibliographies in Microsoft Word.

This practical, face-to-face session is designed for students writing essays, papers or dissertations and assumes no prior knowledge of EndNote.

During the session, you’ll learn how to:

  • Create and manage your own EndNote library.
  • Add and edit references manually or import them from databases and library catalogues.
  • Organise references using groups, remove duplicates and add full-text documents.
  • Use Cite While You Write to add citations and generate bibliographies in Microsoft Word.
  • Use EndNote Online and sync your EndNote library.

The session will primarily use EndNote Desktop for Windows. Mac users are welcome to bring their own device, as the software works in a similar way, but trainers will not be able to answer Mac-specific questions.
