Four Windows and a Room: Opening Night with Gavin Turk

Join us for the opening night of Katharine Round’s Four Windows and a Room, followed by a conversation with Gavin Turk exploring art, confinement and perception, hosted by Christopher Hird.

Drawing on an eight-year correspondence with Keith, a man held in solitary confinement in the United States, Four Windows and a Room explores relationships, perception and time under conditions of extreme confinement.

Through letters, road-trip footage, personal objects and the setting of a motel room, the installation considers how confinement is felt, mediated and understood, and what can remain unseen across distance.

Guests will have the opportunity to explore the exhibition, hear the conversation and stay afterwards for drinks and informal discussion.
