The Climate Mobility Community Action Network (CMCAN) will be hosting an in-person panel discussion on the importance of Climate Mobility research at UCL as part of 28 Days of Sustainability.

Join us for an engaging panel discussion on climate change and climate mobility, bringing together leading UCL academics and students researching this critical issue. This event will explore how climate change is shaping human migration, the challenges it presents, and how research can drive solutions.

CMCAN is a registered nonrprofit from Canada that works on topics around climate mobility and displacement through education, collaboration and participation.

We anticipate participants will produce a Climate Action Plan or similar such output, keeping this activity focused on action and making change and not simply knowledge-generation. What's a cross-university hackathon?We are collaborating with Shanghai Jiao Tong University on a cross-university, virtual clean energy hackathon. A hackathon is a form of challenge-based learning where teams work to solve problems through rapidly prototyping, refining and pitching solutions.
