Risto:

  • As CEO and Founder of KalvoTech, Risto is a DPhil chemical engineer specialising in bioprocessing, with 8 years of experience developing hollow fibre membreane technologies and biomaterials.
  • During his DPhil at the University of Oxford, Risto developed novel EHFMs and taught mathematical modelling of biological systems.
  • While at Imperial, as part of the Biological Engineering Systems Laboratory, Risto worked on developing EHFMs for red blood cell production.
