Join us for a trip on the Ruislip Lido Railway, a twelve-inch narrow gauge railway that runs through the woodlands around the Ruislip Lido Lake. Following the train ride, you are welcome to spend time on the beach!
ITINERARY:
- We will be meeting outside Euston Square station at 10:00, 🕙 for those who would prefer to come with the group. We will leave from the station at 10:15, catching a Met line train to Ruislip. (If you would prefer to make your own way to Ruislip/join us at a further point in the journey, that is perfectly fine!)
- Once we get to Ruislip we will be taking the H13 bus to Willow Lawn (one of the termini of the Railway), and then we’ll ride the Railway to the beach(Woody Bay)! This is when we’ll have lots of free time to eat lunch 🥪, take pictures 📸 and just have a wander (not a swim, unfortunately ❌)!
- We’ll then make our way back in the late afternoon to Ruislip, back on the Met homebound :)
