• Marx and Friedrich Engels, selections from the Manifesto of the Communist Party (1848), pp. 469–500
• Marx, The coming upheaval (from The Poverty of Philosophy, 1847), pp. 218–19
They are all short essays or aphorisms so not much to read for this week. We'll gather in Foster Court room 215 at 6pm, hear some presentations on the texts by two students and then go into a discussion with breaks in between.
