Mastering Improvisation - UCLPS

In this academic year, we've covered many techniques that improve prepared speeches. For this session, we will put focus on improvised speeches.

We will go over the idea that speeches are also forms of 2-way communication, and how that translates to speakers dynamically changing content based on real-time feedback from the room.

After skill sharing, members can expect a little group activity, followed by competitors competing at Warwick in around 2 weeks time! Last but not least, we will play some games to celebrate the successful running of our 2026 inter-university public speaking competition!
