- Hosted by Alternative Proteins Society
We have invited Anthony Warner, a highly experienced chef who currently works in plant-based product development. He will be talking about alternative protein product management pipelines and the things producers must consider when developing a new product for the market. A short description of him is given below:
Anthony Warner is a highly experienced chef, who has worked in professional kitchens for over 25-years. As well as several years in high-end restaurants and hotels, he was the Head Innovation Chef at Premier Foods for over a decade, where he developed recipes for brands such as OXO, Bisto, Sharwoods, Branston, Loyd Grossman, Homepride, Ambrosia and Batchelors. He now specializes in the development of plant-based foods and the creation of healthier, more sustainable food products. He is an associate of New Food Innovation and a founder of AC Foods, consulting for food manufacturers on matters of nutrition, communication, innovation and health. He writes about food for New Scientist, The Sunday Times, The Telegraph and The Angry Chef Blog. He is the author of the award-winning Angry Chef trilogy of books on food science, health and sustainability and is a keynote speaker at events and conferences around the world.
The talk will be hybrid, with Anthony streaming his presentation to our physical room. Online attendance is available, and those interested will be sent a Zoom link to join. For in-person attendance, alternative protein snacks will be available as always, and the talk will be followed by a networking session.
Hope to see you there!
