Come along to Friends of MSF's first fundraising event of the academic year!! We will be screening the incredible documentary 'Doctors of War: Saving Lives (2021)' which follows the journey of local and international medics working in a refugee camp in South Sudan. They navigate many challenges, undertaking complex emergency surgeries under significant pressure and limited resources. Although the documentary was originally broadcast on Channel 5, it is no longer available online so this will be an exclusive screening. Be ready to catch a glimpse of what it's like to work in the field in this visceral film. The screening lasts for one hour and will be followed by time to reflect and discuss.
