Have you ever wondered what life was like as a Roman schoolchild? 

Well then, come one, come all to Classics Society's first academic lecture of the year. The Department of Greek and Latin's own Dr Marigold Norbye - our resident specialist in Late and Medieval Latin and History, as well as Latin Palaeography - will be joining us to deliver this talk in the "Roman Classroom Style", re-enacting how ancient Roman schoolrooms were run and how Latin was taught as a foreign language to Greek Native Speakers,
