Required field

We're delighted you're interested in working with us!
We welcome expressions of interest from charities and community organisations looking to partner with Students' Union UCL to engage students in meaningful volunteering opportunities. Please complete this form to tell us about your organisation and the opportunities you offer.

What we provide for you!

  • Volunteering Directory – all of our volunteering opportunities are advertised on our directory which can be searched by department, skills that can be developed, distance and commitment required
  • Volunteering Fairs – we hold our Volunteering Fairs twice a year and our registered partners have access to book a stall.
  • Newsletter & social media – we distribute a weekly newsletter which features information about volunteering opportunities, upcoming one-off events and information about workshops and events related to social impact.  Organisations can showcase opportunities on these platforms.
  • Targeted Communication – we send our volunteering opportunities to relevant departments who may have student interested in gaining experience relevant to the degree that they are studying.
  • Challenge based volunteering – We run our Social Hackathons (1-day events) and Consultancy Challenge (week-long event), where students volunteer as consultants and work in teams to solve a problem for a charity and provide them with an action plan.
  • Doorway to Students’ Union UCL (Clubs & Societies) and UCL and we can help to connect you with other parts of the UCL community.
  • Partners’ Meetings – hold in-person meetings with our partners where we provide updates on our service and provide you with a chance to provide feedback on our service.  These are opportunities for our new and existing community partners to find out more about what we do, how we can work together effectively and also provide an informal forum for networking.  They normally take place from January to July.
  • Supporting UCL volunteers – we send regular communication to UCL students who volunteer through our service, to find out how they are getting on and to also send them invitations to our events and training.
  • Community Awards – annual celebration where we recognise UCL volunteers, partner organisations and student-led projects.  UCL student volunteers are also provided with a volunteer certificate for volunteering with one of our partner organisations.

Before submitting this form, please read our Community Partner Service Standards and Terms and Conditions.
