The Ministry of Stories is a writing and mentoring centre in east London, where anyone aged 8 to 16 can come and discover their own gift for writing. You’ll find us hidden behind our own fantastical shop Hoxton Street Monster Supplies.

We run workshops for local schools as well as after school clubs. Projects include: producing a local newspaper, song writing, poetry, comedy script writing, and creating a soap opera with the help of East Enders writer Pete Lawson. Volunteers are our lifeblood and we rely on them to help deliver our workshops and run our shop. Check out our latest escape room project The Night The Day Was Broken.
