Please help support the work of the Friends of Chelsea Children's Hospital School (Charity No 1060218).

Our school charity helps support our extended school year holiday and after-school programme of fun events, activities and outings for chronically ill children and young people admitted to Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, The Royal Brompton Hospital, St. Mary's Hospital, Collingham Child and Family Unit, The Lavender Walk Adolescent Mental Health unit, and pupils in the community who are unable to attend school due to medical/mental health needs. The impact of the school has consistently been recognised by Ofsted as Outstanding.

Hospital education provides children and young people with continuity, reassurance and normality, and the ability to maintain and progress their learning whilst in hospital and on discharge.  FCCHS works to support the school in developing a 50-week school year holiday programme of activities, arts and music for children in hospital, whilst also helping to develop information technology systems and infrastructure to facilitate learning from the bedside for those pupils/patients on the wards who are unable to access our schoolrooms.
