ECYPS (Children and Young Persons' Services) is a trusted and inclusive local charity that has supported children, young people, and vulnerable families in Enfield since 2002. We support communities across the entire London Borough of Enfield, including some of Enfield’s most disadvantaged communities (Many of the wards in the Eastern Corridor of Enfield are in the 10% most deprived areas within England). We are small charity with a big impact on the community. We have an incredible reputation, in November 2025, we received a 'Highly Commended' award in the Children and Young People Now Awards - a national charity awards scheme.
Our services have expanded phenomenally over the years, and we are proud to offer wrap around services for vulnerable families. We provide vital direct services including running two youth clubs (one exclusively for young women), an after-school club, a disability football team, school holiday activity camps, a food bank supporting over 100 local families, a data bank with around 500 beneficiaries (distributing SIM cards and WiFi boxes to those in need), a community fitness programme, mental health workshops, young carers counselling services, parenting programmes, free accredited training opportunities such as AQA awards and training courses (safeguarding, FGM, diversity, online safety, domestic violence etc etc). We are also a registered DBS centre and run a Community Help Point Scheme in Enfield with over 200 local spaces!
