ECYPS (Children and Young Persons' Services)
ECYPS (Children and Young Persons' Services) is a trusted and inclusive local charity that has supported children, young people, and vulnerable families in Enfield since 2002.  We support communities across the entire London Borough of Enfield, including some of Enfield’s most disadvantaged communities (Many of the wards in the Eastern Corridor of Enfield are in the 10% most deprived areas…
Description

Do you want to support members of the community?  Do you want to ensure that everyone feels safe in their local neighbourhoods?

ECYPS are looking for keen individuals to help with our Community Help Point Scheme (CHiPS).  We currently have over 200 safe spaces in Enfield for people to seek refuge if they feel in danger, lost, or vulnerable whilst in the local community.  You will be given a target to recruit at least two other CHiPS points during your volunteering with us.  You will be guided on the process, visit local businesses and amenities, and have the opportunity to deliver a CHiPS training session.  You will be helping to create a safer Enfield for everyone.  We have the aim of expanding our CHiPS scheme and are looking to create a quarterly news bulletin with updates, safeguarding news and information on new CHiPS points that have been added to our scheme.  You can learn how to create a custom Google Map, update our website and create your own passionate emails to send to organisations.

See more about the  scheme here:  www.chipsenfield.com
