Mediorite is a video production company and social enterprise. As part of their social enterprise, Mediorite provides free training to young and diverse people in the skills they need to follow a creative career, empowering them to pursue a career in the film industry. Past projects include training courses in prisons, schools, and colleges.
Mediorite is working to improve pre-production efficiency and editor workload forecasting, addressing issues such as duplicated work, inconsistent handovers, and inaccurate time/budget tracking. To support this, the team has implemented ClickUp and needs to assess whether it genuinely saves time, reduces duplication, and enables clearer planning.
- Design a survey that tests Mediorite’s core assumptions:
- Time spent on pre-production tasks (currently tracked in Clockify) can be reduced by streamlining workflows through ClickUp.
- Multiple team members working on the same documents leads to delays, incorrect handovers, and inaccurate time/budget tracking.
- Editor workload forecasting is inconsistent, resulting in periods of overload and downtime.
- Analyse the survey results alongside data from ClickUp and Clockify to:
- Identify workflow issues, handover errors, time-tracking inconsistencies, and planning challenges. Rank these issues by urgency and impact.
- Assess whether ClickUp is improving efficiency, reducing duplicated work, and supporting more accurate workload forecasting.
- Produce a final report that provides:
- A clear evaluation of whether ClickUp is solving the identified problems and where it is delivering measurable improvements.
- Recommendations for how each department should use ClickUp to support smoother workflows and better planning.
- Practical guidance for training, adoption, and long-term use of ClickUp across the organisation.
