Description
The role offers an enthusiastic individual an invaluable opportunity to take a hands-on role in the marketing of Aspierations, a social enterprise helping to tackle the UK’s serious underemployment of autistic people. You will be helping launch STEEVIE, a unique autism friendly online employment assistance platform.
By helping us build a relationship with different audiences, this volunteer opportunity will see you changing peoples’ perceptions for the better. This invaluable opportunity will help in your personal development and network ability.
Duties
- Role focussing on social media
- Helping design a consistent social media style/campaign
- Advertising the organisation and what we do
- including our new platform, STEEVIE
- Produce information about autism + underemployment issue
Who will the volunteers be working with?
Volunteers will be working with a small team of fellow student volunteers as well as having regular engagement with the organisation's leaders.
Time commitment
The role is flexible, and from the start any time you can offer will be built around other work and study commitments. However, we are hopeful of bringing in individuals with a real interest in autism, and/or a passion for delivering work that will directly contribute to positive social change.
