Mature, Part-time & Carers Students' Officer
Your RoleYou will lead the Mature, Part-time & Carers Students' Network and oversee the development of an engaging, dynamic and rewarding community of mature, part-time and students with caring responsibilities and represent their interests and needs to the Union.

How we make decisions
Last week we sent out a list of all the ideas being discussed at the upcoming Zone Meetings. At this point, those ideas are NOT Union policies, they're just student ideas.

A 'tradition' across the pond - the American holiday of Thanksgiving always falls on the fourth Thursday of November with Friday becoming an unofficial holiday meaning people were off work and free to shop, leading shops to lower their prices.

Members of UCL UCU have voted to back strike action on two separate legal disputes, one on pensions and one on pay, casualisation, workloads and inequality. UCU wants universities to meet their carefully weighted pay claim that would help alleviate pay inequality
