Luz Jaimes Poley, founder of Latam Business, I’m from Colombia and my background is in Electronics Engineer an MBA, Entrepreneurship and Consultancy were my two electives at university, this lead me to dream in making this consultancy business that helps UK cleantech businesses to enter into the LatinAmerican market.  My humble beginning as an entrepreneur was as an importer of speciality coffee from Colombia, there I focus on creating sustainable relationships between the growers and roasters.

With my interest in sustainability growing and seeing the potential impact of Green technology in The South I created Latam Business, a boutique consultancy helping Cleantech businesses from the UK to enter into the Latin-American market, looking at the outstanding innovations and research in the UK and the barriers to trading globally, cultural differences, languages, and time zones, my purpose is that those should never stop an exciting business idea.

What I enjoy more about being an entrepreneur in sustainability is connecting people and building relationships to make things happen for the good here and there.  Also, I enjoy being part of sustainability as a global duty, to learn what people do in other countries that benefit the planet, their economy and that collaboration is a big part of being sustainable.
